Relationship Tips
Never underestimate the power of time.
Time can heal. Time can reveal answers. Time can strengthen bonds.
Through all the hardship that relationships go through, sometimes the simplest answer is just to give it time.
Poem Of The Week
Retired Companions: A Journey Shared
In the twilight of our working days, we two,
Retired together, a journey tried and true.
Side by side, we weathered work's storm,
Now in this peaceful haven, we find our norm.
We started as colleagues, but soon we found,
A friendship so deep, it's truly profound.
Through deadlines, meetings, and office strife,
We've shared the laughter, and yes, the occasional strife.
Now in the golden years, we sit and reminisce,
On all the challenges faced, and what we might miss.
But what matters most, as we reflect and see,
Is the gift of your friendship, and the bond we'll always be.
So here's to us, two friends retired at last,
Through the decades, our friendship held fast.
In this new chapter, with time now our own,
We'll cherish the memories, as they've brightly shone.
Weekly Love Challenge
It’s your time to be a poet!
Take the weekend to write a poem about a loved one.
If you’re in a relationship, write it about each other.
If you’re single, write it about a family member, friend, or better yet, yourself.
Don’t be shy. Open up.
Self-Love Tips
There is no truer love than the one you have for yourself.
It’s the love that you have had for the longest amount of time.
It should be the love you are most familiar with.
It’s love that requires constant nourishment.
This week, decide what you love doing the most by yourself.
That might be reading, or it could be working out.
By identifying what you love doing most, you can then spend more time doing that.
You’ve earned it.
